Face Injections in Mexico — Step by Step

Your Consultation

Free consultation with one of our board-certified physicians. We assess your face at rest and in animation, identify the best combination of Botox + filler for your goals, and provide transparent pricing.

Before the Treatment

Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen and fish oil for 5 to 7 days (reduces bruising). Avoid alcohol for 24 hours. Arrive with clean skin (no makeup).

The Day of Treatment

You arrive at the clinic for your appointment. Topical anesthetic for filler sessions (20 minutes). The treatment itself takes 15 to 45 minutes depending on areas treated. You can return to normal activity immediately.

After the Treatment

Mild redness or pinpoint bruising for a few hours. Avoid lying down or massaging the area for 4 hours after Botox. Avoid intense exercise and saunas for 24 hours. Light makeup is OK after 4 to 6 hours.

Recovery After Face Injections

Risks and Complications

Common Minor Effects

Pinpoint bruising, redness, mild swelling. All resolve within hours to days. Lip filler can produce more noticeable swelling for 1 to 3 days.

Filler-specific Risks

The most serious risk of HA fillers is vascular occlusion (very rare with experienced injectors using proper technique). Hyaluronidase — an enzyme that dissolves filler — is always available in our clinic for emergency reversal. Asymmetry can usually be corrected at a touch-up appointment.

When NOT to Inject

Active skin infection at the site, pregnancy/breastfeeding, certain neuromuscular conditions (myasthenia gravis), known allergy to relevant components, recent dental work in the treatment area.
